St. Patrick's Day Fun

The other day I got stuck into the Pinterest black hole. When I surfaced, I had found a bajillion fun ideas for St. Patrick's Day.

Let me give you a little background here... St. Patrick's Day was a holiday where I looked forward to going to school. Why? Because St. Patrick's Day was actually freaking acknowledged! For whatever reason, my parents just didn't "do" St. Patrick's Day. I can vividly remember one morning when I was little, about 5 or 6 years old, waking up on St. Patrick's Day running around our little apartment to see if any leprechauns had visited. (I don't know. Apparently kids on the playground were talking and they had green milk 'n shit at their house.) So, that morning I excitedly said "MOM! They came! Look my skip it is in my room; I know I left it in the living room." Mom laughed at me smiled and said "sure."

Whatever Mom. You can't imagine the trauma you have caused... ;)

So, I put together a little compilation of my favorite St. Paddy's Day Pinterest finds.

You can find the link to the original post/source under each image. Give those links a click if you see something you want to try out! *cough Mom*

Obviously, none of these are my own recipes, craft ideas or photos. Get serious! I had my first baby like ten minutes ago! My "mommy activity juices" aren't flowin' yet. Although, I did knock out some St. Patrick's Day prints. high five!

This is what St. Paddy's Day is looking like at our house so far:

What are some of your favorite St. Patrick's Day things?

Let me know if you try any of the above Pinterest finds! I'd love to see/hear how they turned out!

Have a great Wednesday!

My husband's name is Patrick, his birthday is March 1, so naturally, this is his favorite holiday. We never end up doing anything since we work out of town. We'll try again this year!

  4. We never did st. pattys day growing up either. I can blame the fact that we are a bunch of crazy italians. And since I kept the tradition going we have yet to celebrate it either. But maybe since Ace is in school we will do something...
