Hopes & Plans

Welcome to the "hopes & plans" link up! Any hopeful or goal-oriented post is welcome! It can be your life's dreams and aspirations or simply your chore list. Share with us! I hope for this to be a place where we can come to be inspired and motivated by the things other people have in the works.  The possibilities are endless! Most things in life begin by first having a hope and then some kind of plan

Hopefully you had a relaxing and enjoyable Mother's Day weekend. Kyle got up early, took Mallory and had Starbucks waiting for me when I rolled out of bed. If that doesn't set the tone for a great day, then I don't know what does! We spent the better part of the day grilling seafood and having a beer or two at home. Bliss.

I'm pretty pleased with the progress I made on last week's hopes & plans.

|| 8x10 kitchen print  I made these two :)

|| unsubscribe to at least 3 shopping emails  Holy cow do I get a ton of these emails! Definitely got rid of at least 5...

|| mail Mother's Day things

|| photography tutorial and practice Ouch. To say the practice portion was humbling would be a gross understatement.

one || I want to start designating a portion of the day as a "no electronics" time. Meaning I want at least an hour or two of play time with Mallory to include nothing but personal interaction. This is in addition to our daily walks. It bothers me how often I check my phone, take photos, flip on the computer or have the TV on in the background... I need to set a better example.

two || Take at least 10 photos using my DSLR on manual mode.

three || Schedule Schatzi's vet appointment. She is due for a couple of vaccines soon and I've got to get that on the books. Random : did you know that here in Alaska we don't have to give our dogs a heart worm OR flea/tick preventative? Those little bastards just can't survive up here. $$$ cha ching!

four || I want two of these hanging on my living room wall, even if I have to build them myself! I've been asking Kyle to do this for weeks now... history says nothing gets that man's ass in gear faster than coming home to me working in his garage. ;) Manipulative? Maybe. But at this point I AM willing to build them myself!

Thank you so much for joining me this week! I can't wait to read some of your hopes & plans!

Here's a button for your blog, if you'd like :)
