Birthday Gifts From My Personal Stylist!

Ha! Yeah right. They weren't gifts. I totally paid to have a box full of fashion goodness delivered to my door. This was my second ever Stitch Fix box and once again I was quite pleased!

Here is a little info about Stitch Fix for those of you who are new to the game ;) All you do is Go to Stich Fix.com and complete your own personal style profile. This is one of the more thorough profiles that I've seen and it was actually fun to fill out!  You will then schedule your 'fix' date and proceed to checkout. A personal stylist puts together a look for you for just $20. When you receive your Stitch Fix, you try everything on and decide what you like and what you don't like. Anything you don't like goes into the prepaid return envelope that was included in your box. You keep what you like and the $20 styling fee is applied to your purchase. Too easy! [See my first Stitch Fix here.}

The styling cards that are included in your "fix" are wonderful! Since these aren't pieces I've explicitly selected myself, it is so helpful to see how they can each be styled/worn. These cards can be quite persuasive ;)

At first glance, the Missy Polka Dot Tab-Sleeve Blouse by Pomelo seemed a bit...young. I like the color and I like polka dots so I figured I would throw it on just to see. Loved it on! The fit was perfect and paired with jeans this top was just right. HOWEVER, the collar sat right on my surgery scars and was uncomfortable, so for that reason, it's going back.

I think this bracelet is unique, cute and affordable! The clasp is unlike anything I've seen before. Lately, Mallory doesn't allow me to wear my watch, much less a bracelet, so this is going back as well. :(

This is the Dory Braid Detailed Striped Tank also by Pomelo. I don't own many things in this pinky shade, so I was definitely intrigued. The stripe pattern on this top is interesting and the braid detailing really makes it special. I wish you could feel the fabric through your computer screen because it is incredible soft! When I put it on, I instantly looked about 5 months pregnant...No thanks! It seems that interesting stripe pattern wasn't doing my midsection any favors HA!

Navy cardigan? Where do I sign. I'm a sucker for cardigans and think I can never have too many. The fit of this Abrianna Longsleeve Knit Cardigan by 41Hawthorn is unlike anything I own. It's lightweight and flowy. Keepin' this baby!

I was late to the colored skinny jeans party last spring/summer and am trying to branch out more in the pants department! I love the color of the Joshua Colored Ankle Jean by Pink Martini but felt the price point on these were just too high. Were these a pair of classic denim jeans I would have been all over it, but mint colored pants aren't a year round staple for me, so these went back too.

Overall, I really enjoyed this Stitch Fix and will most definitely schedule another for early fall!

Have you tried Stitch Fix before? If you haven't, get started here!

PS. This is totally not a sponsored post! Stitch Fix has no idea who I am.
