Welcome to the "Hopes & Plans" link up! Any hopeful or goal-oriented post is welcome! It can be your life's dreams and aspirations or simply your chore list. Share with us! I hope for this to be a place where we can come to be inspired and motivated by the things other people have in the works. The possibilities are endless! Most things in life begin by first having a hope and then some kind of plan.
|| Get some fresh veggies. We met a friend and her daughter at Pyrahs Pioneer Peak Farm last week. It was a beautiful day and the girls had a blast playing in the dirt! I came home with some zucchini, broccoli, spinach, kale and potatoes for $3.39!! We will most definitely be back.
|| Finish master bedroom projects. Finished? Absolutely not. But in our defense, we did have a traumatic even happen on Monday or Tuesday that deterred us from the garage. Shelves fell on Mallory while she was playing in her walker out there and I'm the one who knocked them over. :( So scary! She is completely fine, but Kyle and I were not... so at this point we only have 2/doors hung and everything is primed but not yet painted.
|| Have our family photos taken. Yes yes yes! I was skeptical as to house these would turn out, but after seeing a preview over the weekend; I'm in LOVE! Can't wait to share them with you!
This Week's Hopes & Plans :
one || Schedule the flooring installation. We had planned to install hardwood style flooring but Lowes is running a special on carpeting that is just too good to pass up. Since this isn't our "forever home" (thanks Army) we would rather keep the $$$ in our wallet than under our feet.
two || Tape off the baseboards in the remaining two bedrooms. I will be so much more likely to paint these babies during the day if they are already taped off. Obviously, a little bit at a time is the only option with Mallory. She runs a tight ship. ;)
three || Organize my Pinterest boards. Am I the only one who needs to do this every couple of months? I always feel the need to add new categories or purge. #ohthestruggle.
four || Plan. The past few weeks, as summer is winding down in Alaska, we haven't really had anything scheduled. Sometimes that is ok, but for us that usually amounts to a whole lot of TV time. Not a fan! Also, in the past I schedule the entire month of blog posts ahead of time and lately I haven't been. I need to get back on the horse.
