Hopes & Plans [Weekly Link Up]

Welcome to the "Hopes & Plans" link up! Any hopeful or goal-oriented post is welcome! It can be your life's dreams, aspirations, monthly goals or simply your chore list. Share with us! I hope for this to be a place where we can come to be inspired and motivated by the things other people have in the works. The possibilities are endless! Most things in life begin by first having a hope and then some kind of plan.

Believe it or not, I'm happy to see Monday this week! We have been totally stuck to the house on weekends lately thanks to Kyle's work requirements that I welcome the start of a new week and our weekday activities.

Let's take a look at last week's hopes & plans...

|| Drink more water. I've been doing better with this! Isn't it funny how the more water you drink during pregnancy the less swollen you are? (Normally anyway.)

|| Prepare a new/fun dessert. Apparently by "prepare" I meant stock up on clearance Valentine's Day candy at Target...

|| Get organizedCrushed this one! I ordered Baby Woody's rock n' play and glass bottles. I even got him a hefty clothing haul aaaaaand pacifiers. CHECK!

This Week's Hopes & Plans ::

one || "Neutralize" the kids' room. As you know, we are transforming Mallory's room into a space the kids will share. We chose this route because the baby will likely be sleeping in our room for the remainder of our time in Alaska and we have frequently visitors utilizing our third bedroom. Anyway, even though we didn't make Mallory's room SUPER girly to begin with, there are some small changes we would like to make in order for the room to be more gender neutral. I'll keep you posted...

two || Make a "tie blanket." Until this week I had completely forgotten that I made Mallory one while I was pregnant with her! It's cheap and easy and the baby needs blankets. Hop to it mama!
three || Bring remaining baby gear up from the crawl space. Ok, this one is really for Kyle to do, but I'm putting it on here in hopes that it will let him know I'm serious. ;) The pack n' play, baby swing, nursing pillow, eeeek! Little baby things! I actually bought a pack of newborn diapers this week--holy crap are those things tiny! How quickly we forget..

four || Have a clear scan on Friday and celebrate another cancerversary!! 'nuff said.

Oh! Make sure you stop by Anne's blog today and see which fashion trends I won't be missing this year...

What do you have on the books for this week?
