I'm always eager to try out any and everything when it comes to remedies for under eye circles/puffiness. As the mom of two under two, to say that I'm not as wide eyed and bushy tailed as I used to be would be a gross understatement. Recently, I had the opportunity to try out the VIIcode O2M Oxygen Eye Mask and wanted to share a little about the product itself as well as my experiences with it.

When you order these masks, the come in a pack of six sets. You are supposed to use one set, 2-3 nights per week to achieve optimum results. The ingredients in the oxygen eye masks are reportedly designed to de-puff and hydrate your under eye area as well as activate cell memory to increase oxygen absorption.

Caution! Late night, makeup free photos coming up...

I apologize that the lighting in each of these photos is so different, but hopefully you can still get the gist. I used the oxygen eye masks over a three week time period and could notice a definite improvement in puffiness. Upon application these eye masks were incredibly soothing and felt like a real treat! I genuinely looked forward to the evenings where it was time for me to apply the next eye masks because I felt like I was being pampered. The cool gel under your eye can't help but work it's de-puffing magic. My eyes looked less swollen thus more awake, no matter how sleep deprived I actually was.
My issue with the masks came in with the "wear them for 8 hours" part of the instructions. There is no telling how long they actually remained on my skin during the night because without fail I was scouring my bed in the morning trying to find them. I wouldn't describe myself as an "active sleeper" in that I pretty much remain in the same position throughout the night and they still wouldn't stay on! I was advised to try using a sleep mask to help keep them on, but even that didn't work. Because of this, there is no way I could experience the full benefit of the masks which was certainly frustrating and for $55...well I expect the full benefit. Not to mention, the company actually recommends purchasing THREE boxes in order to actually complete the full course of treatment.
Disclosure: I received this product free of charge in exchange for my review. As always, all opinions are my own.
